DAY 1 – Monday March 12 (L, D)
Buenos Aires city tour
This tour will give you the opportunity to learn about the History of Argentina and its culture.
We will explore the colorful La Boca area with its open arts fair, Boca Jrs. Stadium and its famous Caminito street.
Then, we will visit San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, full of antique shops.
At the Civic Center we will visit the Pink House, the Cabildo building (where the administration during the Spanish colony was), the Plaza de Mayo (Mayo Square) and the Metropolitan Cathedral. There we will see the homage that the Catholic Church made to the Jewish community. All these buildings surround the Plaza de Mayo (May Square). We will continue going through Mayo Avenue, where Tortoni café is located the, the oldest in town and to the House of Congress of Argentina. After lunch we will visit the cemetery of Recoleta, where the grave of Evita Perón is as well as most of the forefathers of Argentina. We will finish our tour visiting Puerto Madero, the newest district of Buenos Aires, built next to the River Plate. We will see the Woman Bridge, built by Santiago Calatrava.

DAY 2 – Tuesday March 13 (B, L)
Jewish tour
After breakfast, we will take a journey through the amazing past and present of the Jewish Community in Argentina.
Highlights of the itinerary:
- Israeli Embassy Memorial Plaza
- Once neighborhood (one of the most important Jewish quarters of Buenos Aires)
- AMIA Building (Jewish Community Center)
- Shaare Tefila (Sephardic, built in 1940)
After lunch we will visit the Israelite Congregation of the Argentinean Republic, the so called Libertad Temple. This congregation is the oldest in Argentina and is the one that hired Rabbi Marshall Meyer who arrived in Argentina in 1959. We will also visit the Jewish Museum of Buenos Aires. Last but not least we will visit the Seminario Rabínico Latinoamericano “Marshall T. Meyer” (Latin American Rabbinical Seminary) and the National Monument to the Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
Back to the hotel.

DAY 3 – Wednesday March 14 (B, L)
Day at Estancia (Ranch) Santa Susana + lunch ( Argentinean BBQ: ASADO)
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel at 9.30am to spend an amazing day in the country at an Argentinean Estancia (estancia means ranch), where we will enjoy outdoor activities, horseback riding and a Gaucho (Argentinean cowboy) Show. Asado (Argentinean style BBQ).
Back to the hotel at 6.30pm.

DAY 4 – Thursday March 15 (B, L, D)
Delta of Tigre + Argentine Experience
After breakfast we will visit the Delta of the Tigre River, which is located 30 km away from Buenos Aires. We will do it the local way, taking the train. We will take a boat ride “Interisleña”, the boats that take the locals who live in the area.
Lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit the “Port of Fruits”. Back to the hotel.
In the evening will enjoy the Argentine experience, learning to make empanadas and alfajores, original food of Argentina, followed by a steak dinner (asado).

DAY 5 – Friday March 16 10 (B, L, D)
Teatro Colón (Opera House) + Chessed activity at Ledor Vador Nursing Home + Shabbat Service and dinner at Comunidad Amijai.
We will begin our day with a guided visit at the Teatro Colón, the Opera House of Buenos Aires, which has one of the best acoustics in the world.
Then, we will visit Ledor Vador Nursing Home for a Chessed activity. We will learn about the cutting edge facility, the best of its kind in the country as well as the magnificent work they do with the residents. Over half of the population of this home is supported by donations of contributors. We will share quality time with the residents singing in Spanish, English and Yiddish.
After lunch, we will join the demonstration in memory of the anniversary of the bombing to the Israeli Embassy of Buenos Aires. Back to the hotel. Getting ready for Shabbat.

San Telmo Antique Market + Tango show and dinner.
The Feria de San Telmo (San Telmo Antique Market) is one of the most notable events in Buenos Aires.
Every Sunday locals and tourists fill up Defensa street and Plaza Dorrego to visit the many stalls selling antiques, hand-made crafts and souvenirs. Historically, the market began with just antique sellers on Plaza Dorrego. Over time the street that connects the
plaza with the city’s most important square, Plaza de Mayo, has become full of stalls too. The feria is a great place to visit during the morning, since it’s a little quieter then (though still busy). Plus, Calle Defensa is packed with restaurants where visitors can stop for lunch after a morning spent shopping.
